You can customise your Via Gastronomica however you want – for example, you could add on a little "detour" to Piz Chüern. After that added bit of exertion, you’ll have earned a hearty lunch!
Delicious food and pleasant walks
If you love great food as much as you love great hikes, the Via Gastronomica is perfect for you: during your hike, stop off for some delectable breaks at the carefully selected restaurants along the way, each offering gorgeous views of the mountains and the lakes of Upper Engadin.
Get your taste buds off to a great start with a refined starter at the La Chüdera restaurant at the Furtschellas middle station. From here, you continue on to the dreamy valley of Val Fex, with gorgeous views of the lakes along the way. Then it’s time for the main course at Hotel Sonne Fex. After Hotel Sonne Fex, you take the wild and romantic gorge path down to Sils Maria via Fex Platta. Finally, you complete your culinary journey with a home-made dessert at the charming Hotel Seraina.
