La Rösa firn snow run
The firn snow run to La Rösa is very popular – including with the locals. Every year, they wait impatiently for the snow conditions and temperatures to be just right for firn snow skiing. These conditions are what makes skiing down to La Motta so special.
The La Rösa firn snow run is not a marked or groomed run. Therefore, it is only suitable for experienced Alpine skiers who are used to dealing with the risk of avalanche. You can book a run with an instructor at the info point of the St. Moritz private ski instructors at the Lagalb valley station and at the Bergsteigerschule Pontresina (mountaineering school).

- You will be leaving the marked slope. Only suitable for experienced Alpine skiers who are used to dealing with the risk of avalanche. Leaving the marked slopes can be dangerous. You do so at your own risk. Check out the current snow conditions and avalanche situation in advance and never ski alone.
