Take part in the Challenge Day of the legendary Club 8848. 8848 meters of altitude must be conquered in one day; you achieve this with eleven valley runs on the Lagalb and four ascents from the mountain station to Piz Lagalb. Who knows, maybe you'll be faster than other participants like ex-ski racer Carlo Janka or comedian Claudio Zuccolini? After successfully completing the challenge, you'll be a member of Club 8848.
Participation
Participation in the challenge is free for everyone on February 15, 2025! Normally, participation costs CHF 10 including the challenger kit, power bars and club membership for 1 year, but on February 15 everything is different. All you need is a valid ski pass. Registration from 8:00 a.m. (first ascent at 9:00 a.m.) directly at the Lagalb valley station or online (https://www.club8848.ch/mitgliedschaft/anmeldung) After successfully completing the challenge, you can hand in the challenge card at the valley station and receive your personal certificate and pin.
Challenge for the little ones
At 11:00 a.m. there will be an autograph session with Carlo Janka in the new "Kids Area Club 8848" at the Lagalb valley station. The course includes several elements where children can practice skiing in a fun way and take part in a "Kids Challenge Club 8848". See you soon at Lagalb!
